KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN SADDLE HORSE ASSOCIATION

Those registered Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association members competing at the Three Phase Event will have their points counted toward their versatility high point program. For more information go to the KMSHA website. www.kmsha.com

I am pleased to once again inform you that the Three Phase Event will be sanctioned by FOSH.  The matter was presented to the Board of Directors and the vote was unanimous in favour.  I am pleased to inform you and your Board of Directors that the Three Phase Event is included in the IJA Rule Book under acceptable Versatility Events as qualifying for the FOSH High Point Horse of the Year as well as all FOSH Versatility points. www.fosh.info

The United Mountain Horse

The AGMH High Point Three Phase Event Horse Award.  AGMH will be sponsoring this award again this year.  We will be awarding a High Point Ribbon, as well as a $100 cash award to the highest scoring AGMH registered horse at the event.   In addition, the AGMH Merit Award Program is being restructured and participation at the Three Phase Event is being incorporated into the Versatility Track of the Merit Award Program.  Criteria for participating in the Revised AGMH Merit Award Program will be released in the next few weeks. www.unitedmountainhorse.org

Mountain Pleasure Horse Association

MPHA is a welcome new affiliate to the Three Phase Event and there Trail Obstacle and the Competitive Trail events are 2 of the MPHA High Point Award Divisions and that information can soon be found on www.mountainpleasurehorse.org.

American Morgan Horse Association is acknowledging the Morgan who gains the highest points of their breed at the 2011 Three Phase Event, with their High Point Morgan Award blue ribbon and certificate. http://www.morganhorse.com

WE have been working really hard to provide more opportunities to offer dressage for gaited horses at more traditional competitions. We are currently working out the details with KMSHA and details will be posted soon. Keep checking our facebook page and this website for final details and dates.

Three Phase Event, 2012

The Three Phase Event will continue in 2012 to host our competition at the beautiful National Historic Landmark - Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, located in Harrodsburg, KY. Over the next couple of months, be sure to check out for any updating to our entry form, room accommodations at Shaker Village and details on some of the extra activities this historic site will offer you on your down time. We also have been updating and changing some of our rules, so make sure you go and read up. We are so excited at the new challenges this beautiful place will offers our competitors, and 2012 will be different, and I know you all will fall in love with it as much as the board members have.
